After a long silence around Darker Than The Bat we regret to announce some sad news.
Some time ago, the radio station that hosted the Darker Than The Bat radio show reorganized to concentrate more on popular music.
There was no more broadcasting time for alternative shows.
We tried very hard to convince the responsible people that they were losing the original character of the radio station, without any success.
Another radio station to host the program was not found and thus we regret to announce that, after more than ten years, the Darker Than The Bat radio show has come to an enforced end.
We thank all the artists and labels that sent their promotional material and hope that they will still find their way to the Belgian Gothic music scene.
It’s a shame that there are so little opportunities in the alternative scene we all love.
Perhaps we’ll meet again at a party, concert or as a guest DJ ...
... and thanks for these fantastic years.
